Dear AcrossRoss.com Friends,
For a number of reasons, we are simplifying AcrossRoss.com. What used to be a magazine-style website, will now focus on being a directory of useful links in Ross Township and West View, Pa. We will maintain a forum board, a place to share documents, and other tools to allow residents of Ross Township and West View Borough to grow and connect.
Occasionally, we may feature original writing and other content, but generally speaking, our plans are to make AcrossRoss.com a website where its users define what it is and how it can be used. Our roll as editors of this online publication, will be to facilitate the conversation.
The benefit of this approach is that it will not require much content generation on our part. Therefore, we can maintain it without it having to constant remove dated articles. After all, our purpose is not to be a daily destination of late breaking news and town gossip (well, maybe town gossip). Rather, we envision this website to become more of a place for you to bookmark and check often because it contains a great gathering of local resources that can be accessed online.
In short, we are putting the tools out there to make this a top notch community-driven site. We hope the residents and shopkeepers in Ross Township and West View Borough, pa. put it too good use.
